Middle school is one of the most overlooked transitional times for students. High school and college are notorious for being the age where you "discover" yourself-but junior high is where the foundations of a student's life really start to get tested. This is the time when most students will first have their faith challenged, and when they'll first start to wrestle with the questions "Who am I?" and, more importantly, "Who do I want to be?" Not light stuff.
The "MADE" series purpose is to help students understand how God sees them. They probably don't see themselves the same way yet, but it's important for them to know that God is making them into something special. I love this series because it focuses on three word-pictures that give students a tangible look at the mystery of becoming the young man or woman God has made them to be.
