NFL PUNT, PASS & KICK COMPETITION COMING TO HERMITAGE
Hermitage Event Open to All Children Ages 8-15
July 16, 2009 – The NFL’s Punt, Pass and Kick is coming to Hermitage, Tenn. Saturday, August 15, 2009.
The competition is being sponsored by the Hermitage Church of the Nazarene children’s sports ministries in conjunction with their Upward Flag Football evaluation day.
This year’s competition will take place at the Hermitage Church of the Nazarene fields located at 4151 Sandersville Road. The competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m.
The competition is free and open to girls and boys ages eight to 15, with separate divisions for girls and boys. Age divisions include two-year age spans, as of December 31, 2009. All participants must present proof of age (birth certificate) at the event for registration.
No football shoes, cleats or turf shoes are allowed; only soft sole gym shoes will be permitted.

Punt, Pass & Kick is a competition in which each participant will have one punt, one pass, and one kick. Scores are determined on distance and accuracy for the three events, with the winners determined by the highest cumulative score. Winners will advance to a sectional in Middle Tennessee and potentially to a Titans game later before the National PPK at the 2010 Super Bowl Weekend.
