Upward Sports At Hermitage Nazarene

Upward Sports at Hermitage Church of the Nazarene exists to offer another way to reach those in our local community. The program is designed for those children who want to compete for something more than just a "Win". Upward Sports were designed to allow children a SAFE place to play and cheer in an environment that promotes sportsmanship, positive self-esteem, and character.

Each child will not only receive equal playing time, but each participant will receive the tools for beginning an active relationship with Jesus Christ. Plus each participant will experience prayer time during each practice and each game with teammates and coaches. The truth be told, we do not want to hide the Gospel of Jesus Christ behind our sporting programs; we intend to hide our sporting programs behind our sharing of the Gospel message.
